Moved into my dorm today! Kevin was already here, then i came, then adam. IT was crazy tiring settling in and ish. Afterwards had a bbq and then meetings and ish. So much stuff. THen some type of ceremony where the kids walked through the Ramapo Walkway while the families just watched and clapped. It was kinda silly. My roommates are totally cool. THey're not crazy, so i like. Adam's quiet, kinda like peeters to a sense. Got 2 earings and mucho facial hair. He looks like a toughguy, so he'll be my buddy for when i do stupid things. THen kevin's the atheletic one. He's a rangers fan!!!! Oh yes! It's a miracle! Well, me and kevin talk and get along better, but adam's still cool as hell. It's weird cuz we're all pretty quiet, or maybe that's just cuz no one brought a TV. Eh... going to a meeting with the group and then a partyyy.. Woot Woot! Peazz outtiesss...

Tennis yesterday.... that was cool. Me and Jeremy whooped Odie and Bags, but it was mucho fun. I wonder how good i'll do when i play my college mates in tennis. We'll just have to wait and see. Afterwards came back and Jermz told me to listen to "stacey's mom" by Fountains of Wayne.... so i d/l it and truthfully the song put a whole smile on my face. It was the happiest and catchiest song i've heard for a long long time. Good ol' jermz. This gave me and jermz the idea of Parks of Lyndhurst. Oh boy.... madness. Then we just jammed at his house for a while. Made up a funny ass pirate song and then i made a song about petryszyn.

Then went over to danae's where my buddies threw me a kickass surprise party. I was legitimately surprised, even though i didn't show it much. It was really fun and so nice of marissa, danae, and my mom to set up. We just chilled for a while, then took it inside since there were too many bugs. Played "the kitchen game" where i won the first round. Watched the yankees vs. bosox and ate some nice food. Then took it back outside. George, maggs, vivenzio went swimming. Everyone else was doing something. It was a mad house. Afterwards we just chilled in the kitched and everyone joined. Played with the dog. Did other stuff. People started to leave, then we went into danae's room. Phil and George played some bear throwing game. We got hungry and ate at a diner. Such great conversations we had: Me and George singing "boom boom boom boom", george laughing at football players, phil seeing a "transy", my "weekend" acting, danae ordering cheesefries but not eating them, mariss doing the "ice experiment" to jermz, george just leaving the diner, and just everyone going crazy cuz of our tiredness.

College is a breath away....

Not too bad, started out just watching some tv at d-train's casa. Me, frankie, ash, sarah, mariss just chilling. Then taboo started which was pretty fun. The team of me, ash, and mariss just obliterated frankie, danae, and sarah. Of course let's go over some of the players. Danae, before the game even started, went to sit down on the small stool but somehow missed it and went tumbling into the ground. Frankie, the clue given to him was "this is what rob is" so frankie's answer was: "rob." Sarah, well she was actually pretty good at the taboo game so i can't say anything. Ugg, we think we saw Mars today, but i'm not quite sure. It's just supposed to look like a bright star, so we saw a bright star in the southeastern sky, but then we looked for the north star and we couldn't find it. Ehh, it was weird but happy 6 months marissa!

NYC.... with anagesh and frankie.... fun ish. Took the bus and then met my aunt where we took the trains and then to the city. Walked around a lil and finally found the Pace University. Went to the South Seaport and ate some food. Frankie was eating his pizza with a knife and a fork.... me and anagesh wouldn't leave him alone after that. Heh, got some yummy drinks at Starbucks and then walked around a lot more... i hate walking. Now it's time to do some more ish... yay.

Something i forgot to add about yesterday while chilling at jeremy's house. He was lieing on his bed with his head against the wall and commented on how good it feels when he rubs his head against the wall. Then he asked me if i ever rubbed my own head before, so i told him yes. Then he started massaging his own scalp and kept saying how good it felt, so i commented that it feels 50x better if someone else massages your scalp. He was in shock with this comment and therefore had to try it out immediately. He kept yelling at me to massage his scalp, which is mega gay, so i kept telling him no. He must've asked me about 15 times..... it was crazy funny though.

Played some hardcore taboo at margaret's house. It was me, pet, jermz, frankie, and anagesh vs. mariss, margaret, gina, and caitlin. We definately won, but they cheated since they were keeping score.... cheaters! Anyways, went to 7-11 afterwards, but then jermz wanted to go home. Me, pet, frankie, and anagesh just chilled for a long time.... talked about things like colleges and football and instruments and band and blah blah blah.... frankie's comments are always the key to the night. Ehhh, everyone's going to bed so early and i should too.... pshhh.... it's guitar time!

Went to Sports Authority today with Jermz to look at punching bags. We found this sweet red Everlast punching bag, but it was $80, which was over Jeremy's budget for a bag. Went back to Jeremy's and just chilled until his dog Shadow puked on the floor. That got Jeremy upset. Then his dad was asking us questions about who's the alltime greatest rockstar and suchnot, and jermz just kept saying "Buddy Holly" while squeezing his nose. It was very funny. Then watched some Married with Children and just chilled some more while listening to music. Now it's taboo time.... peacce

Started out playing catch with jermz, then pet and bags came along. Went to a field and caught the ball and stuff. THen other guys came and we played with them. No hockey tonight, but that didn't matter since i passed out on the bed. Took a nice nap... and when i got up and walked downstairs, to my attention steve and jill came in to borrow a movie. I had no idea what was going on and they were like, "umm, Rob are you okay?" I think i had a conversation with them but i don't even remember. Weird... but i got so much energy wanting to be used right now.... wowzzzaaaaas.

There's a lot of lasts coming up this week. The last time seeing my relatives till the next holiday. The last week of the summer before college. The last hockey night game i'll play before college. The last summer nights chilling till 3am at 7-11, stop and shop, shop rite (new and old), friends houses, playing my guitar at 4:00am, the last times i can do my bathroom business with the door wide open cuz there's no one in the house, my last times without worrying a second about school work till next year, my last times praying for the summer to never come to an end, my last times to see my friends till next time.......... I think this calls for a song! Nice.....

Went to NYC and ate a superb dinner with my mom's side of the family. Planned on going to Mickey's farewell party, but i got tangled up with other stuff. Now talking with Mark online... good ish. Slept a lot today... watched the seinfeld episode when george kept singing to himself "master of the house.." That was funny. went over mariss' at 9:30 and stayed over till 12:30. Watched a movie, then just chilled. I listened to the 16 messages jermz and pet left on my cell, for some reason my cell was on but it didn't ring. Oh well, then went to jermz house and found out they spent the whole day trying to fix their cable modem. And at 1:14am, it worked! Wow, i was there for the "moment". Heh, now i'm just yacking and sitting on my computer chair. Yip Yip..... and away.

Coheed and Cambria Story... i think....

SSTB (The Second Stage Turbine Blade)
1.The events of SSTB are actually the second part of the grand story. The events leading up to SSTB will be revealed in the fourth album.
2.Claudio and Cambria are together throughout SSTB. I think a board interpretation post suggested that they were separated for a time. Claudio confirmed that is not true.
3.Claudio and Cambria are betrayed by Claudio's brother. I think this adds some nice insight into, "come look at what your brother did. Here he did away with me".
4.The dragonfly indeed carries the virus that infects Claudio. The full effect of the virus, of Claudio's monstrous transformation, is not triggered until he makes eye contact with Cambria. Claudio's transformation and the realization that they have been betrayed are behind Delirium Trigger. I loved being able to tell Claudio that this song leaves me emotionally exhausted and then having him sing it twelve feet from me. Fucking cool.
5."Searching for your face in the arm that killed the President...crowd that killed the President...cloud that buried New Mexico" relates to events that take place before SSTB. During the time frame of SSTB, there are no more Presidents. Some guy, whose exotic name/title escapes me, took control. Again, this was something that Claudio explained as having too much backstory to really go into. I think we'll have to wait for album 4.
6.SSTB will make more sense once the comic book comes out. The comic is due early 2004. Claudio will be writing it. He hopes he does a good job translating his songs to comic format. Claudio told me the name of the artist, but I forgot. The artist is someone who has been involved with "Way Of The Rat", although not the main artist. He is someone Claudio is very confident will be able to express his lyrics.

Went out tonight with ash and frankie. Chilled at the old shoprite lot then frankie got hungry so we went to mcdonalds. Then i got ish at wendy's and we chilled when haniel and mikem came to the commons with us. Chilled a lil then tried some operations which backfired on us. Shop and Stop where Frankie drilled a stop sign which was the call of noise which made the cops kick us out. Fun ish.... a week and a couple and off to college....

Today was pretty cool.... played some tennis where me and dipalma beat up on jermz and bags. Then went some swimming at jermz place and chilled on the raft while pet kept attempting to get shadow in the pool. Then went with mariss to margaret's house... phil, danae, anagesh, and frankie stopped by too. I didn't like rummy, but me and phil kicked ass in peanut butter and jelly. Chilled at stop and shop with phil, anagesh, and frankie. Funny as hell, frankie picked up a huge rock and chucked at a truck. It made an explosion sound that scared the crap outta me and we all skidded out of the lot and drove off. Crazy frankie... just lettin off some steam maybe.... heh,,, peazzzz

Freaking fell asleep around 7 but woke up at 2. Chilled with jermz, dtrain, and mariss. Heh, funny how danae just got a cramp in the pool. Then watched some dashboard, then off to tennis. Beat jermz, then me and pet beat the sissman team. Afterwards chilled a lil and then off to pick up ditzy-d, mariss, and jermz for some hellraiser watching. Mariss didn't like the movie much, jermz was pretty much the spokesman for the movie, and danae was just in her own world. Then some really meaningful talks and now i'm passing out... but must play the guitar first.

Today was just sooo uggg. Definately not my day, but enough whining... chilled at home, chatted, napped, showered, stepped on a splinter, picked up people, watched SWAT, ate pizza, back home, more chatting.... doesn't sound too tiring but it really was. Double uggg. Atleast i wrote a new song, yay! Debating to title the song "Only Time Will Tell" or "I Hope The Best For You". It's pretty much 85% only time will tell, but after playing the song another 25 times maybe i'll change my mind. I also am in the midst in another song titled "His Favorite Number Is Two". I think this song is so very clever... but these songs shall remain confidential until it's proper time. Pretty late now.... sleep is for the weak, but naps are cool!

All right, time to put out some long over-due information. Listen up cause we're only gonna say this about a thousand times in the next string of interviews:

First off, thanks for your patience. We've held off putting out any information that we weren't 100% sure about - it's a good practice, some of you should try it sometime. Hehe. We're also working on the new website but it's nice to have photos and stuff first and go from there so quit yer bitchin. Without further ado we'd like to introduce you to the two new members of Taking Back Sunday.

On Guitar and vocals we'd like to introduce Fred Mascherino. He got the job after his band, Breaking Pangaea, performed on part of TBS's Takeover Tour. Mascherino had been playing in Breaking Pangaea since early 2000. The trio spent much of their existence on college charts across the US. The band was known for their frontman's insightful lyrics and guitar virtuosity. Mascherino earned a Jazz degree from Temple University but admits that his true goal is to encompass the fingers of Eddie Van Halen and the voice of David Lee Roth into one body. He has been managing this task in the post-hardcore forum since the mid-nineties when he played in Brody with skate rock legend Chuck Treece (Bad Brains, Urge Overkill). Fred is ready, willing, and able to perform both guitar and vocal duties and can often be found screaming behind buildings when no one is looking.

Our new bassist comes in the form of Matthew Rubano. He's a childhood friend of Mark's and comes from Baldwin, New York. After studying at the Berklee College of Music, Matt moved back to N.Y. to pursue his music career. Most well known for his work on Lauryn Hill's grammy winning debut "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill", Matt has also recorded and performed with a variety of artists across different genres of music. Matt has recently been practicing the fine and dangerous art of dodging microphones.

The Taking Back Sunday line up is now complete and we want to thank everyone for coming out to the last few dates of Warped Shows to remind us of how lucky we are to be able to do this every day. We're working on making up a lot of things that had to be cancelled so stay tuned to your in-boxes and www.takingbacksunday.com for a lot more show announcements.

Kick ass power outage from 4pm - 8:30pm today.... that didn't stop me from my daily activities. Went swimming at jermz house and had tube races. I came in 3rd behind jeremy and sean. That was fun... then tennis! Me and Petryszyn were on the ball today. Beat the sissman team 6-2, beat lambiasse/odie team 6-1, and beat the sissman team again 5-2(forfeit). Not too shabby. Well, going out now so i'll post it up later tonight...

Went for a swimmy swim swim at the jeremy pool. Then home i went and ate a delicious steak. Didn't have to tutor tonight, went over jermz' house to watch movies. Watched house of 1000 corpses which was a dumb movie. Then did some chouffering for the rest of the night. Then me, petryszyn, and jermz had the absolute dumbest conversation ever. Pet talked about starting his own tribe called the jersey devils. Then jermz started talking about reuniting his sunflowers gang. Then jermz started crazy talking about how he's the leader of the gang and their soul purpose is to get an island and create a utopia for themselves. Me and mike asked many questions and jeremy would just answer the questions as little as he could. Very entertaining, yet silly.... lasted about 50 minutes. It's 3:22am and there's no one to talk to. pshhhh...

Blogger was down last night so here we gooo. Yesterday just played some useless tennis and then chilled a lil at jeremy's house. Then went home exhausted and fell asleep while watching Friends. Then phil calls and wakes me up, but then i fell back asleep. I woke up when phil called me yet again and it was like 8:00, when i never tutor later than 7:30. Well, took a shower and finally left and blah blah blah. Afterwards went to jermz house and watched some poker on ESPN. Just talked for a while with the gang until they bored me to death and my hunger started to speak louder than my buddies. Went with phil to Taco Bell with Frankie and Ash leading the way. Got ish, brought it to stop and shop where hanniel and mike met us there. Then vivenzio and acsed came also. Everyone left which left the 4 amigos talking to ourselves. Went to 7-11 and saw muchas personas there. Chilled there for a while and had some more convos. Then went back to stop and shop where i though girl was gonna kill ash for the things he was saying. Heh, it's all in fun. Went home after dropping my car off to the mechanic. I'm carless right now... boo hoo.... arg... it's hot. I might be swimming soon... peeeaaz

K, i just want to mention how large the crowd was during the Brand New's set. They played on the Maurice Stage and the people started from the start of the stage to the middle of the merch tents. It was an insanely amount of people, i don't think i saw the end of the crowd. Well, they played an amazing set and afterwards the swarm left and the Coheed and Cambria fans stayed. Claudio walked onto the stage with a nifty hat hiding all his hair and ski goggles. He looked very silly. Then the band was on and the bassist explained how the NJ turnpike ate up their other guitarist. They played as a trio, but kicked as much ass as they ever did. They played a fully entertaining set, ending it with Devil in Jersey City and Everything Evil. Coheed manages to always amaze and amuse me at every one of their shows. Hearing Claudio's laugh made me crack up for the next hour. It was like listening to a 6 year old girl giggle.... classic moment. Next we watched some Thrice. Thrice is without a doubt one of the brilliant bands in the business. They played songs of the new and old, and the lead singer of the Used sang the last song with the band which totally kicked ass. Thrice's cds haven't left my car stereo in months. Next we watched Less than Jake, where i chilled most of the set with Jaime. They were mega cool, especially when a kid up close gave the singer the finger. He flipped and was all like, "you see, the only problem is that i am the one with the mic." He wouldn't stop taunting and teasing him for the next couple of songs. It was a funny sight to see. They played ish like Gainsville Rock City, All My Best Friends are Metalheads, Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts, Look What Happaned, and other stuff. They're such a groovy band. Next i watched some Glassjaw, but was turned off when i saw that the crowd size for glassjaw was less than the crowd size of people waiting for taking back sunday to perform. When TBS hit the stage, i noticed how they had almost a completely new band. The lead guitarist, bassist, and drummer were different. Kinda pissed me off, but they played thier songs fairly accurate. They played: you know how i do, you're so last summer, cute without the e, great romances of the 20th century, a new song, and timberwolves at new jersey. During the last song, Adam went completely ballistic. He climed the pole that was holding up the stage with the mic and climbed to the top. Then he dangled upside down like a bat from the top of the stage.... like 30 feet high from the stage. He continued singing and eventually jumped down like a punk rocker he is. Then with his signature stage flip into the crowd, everyone went wild. They put on a good show and it was a great way to end a great warped tour.

Monday we went to the beach and Mike was determined to dig a hole. I helped him out but foglio just sat in his chair and watched us. We got pretty deep, but then mike took over. He continued to dig deeper and deeper while steve and i occupied ourselves with building a wall and trenches. Steve then ruined the hole when he wanted to build a tunnel leading into mike's hole... but the tunnel caved and so did a lot of the sand. Not a happy mike... but the beach was mega cool.

Check it....

On Saturday, the car ride with the fogs, vivenz, and i was pretty groovy and the time passed quickly. It started raining which ruined our hopes to go to the beach, but vivenzio was determined to stop the rain by using his bruce almighty powers (fingers on temples while concentrating, and then parting the clouds as he parted his hands to his sides). Then got to the fogs house, very nice place, and chilled for a lil bit. Went to the Sunny Hunny to eat. There we saw an Elmo and a very tall Pooh Bear. Mike, being the fatty mcgee he is, had 2 meals just for him. Afterwards went to the mall. Then ate at some Stewart's.... we were seated at the only table outside in the rain. Hot dogs, yum, root beer, yum. Then watched dumb and dumber at the casa. Funny pelicula... mini golfing was next. 18 holes, me and fogs managed 1 hole-in-one each. I won with a 42, fogs in second with 46, and vivenz with a 47. Then we went to the boardwalk where mike showed off his DDR skills and i just showed off my semi-DDR skills. Cheesesteaks and cheesefries at JR's.... very delicious. Then it started raining, but vivnezio wanted to continue walking on the boardwalk till he saw everything. Of course we walked farther and farther away from the car and it started downpouring. We were drenched from head to toe. Ugg.... oh well. Funny stuff later on that night, mainly just mike getting eaten up by the bed and us trying to scare fogs while acting like ghosts.

Sunday.... Warped tour!!!! I've waited for this event for a long while, and now the day has come. Me and mike had trouble waking up, but eventually got out of the house around 9:40. Driving down there, it took 1.5 hours just to get near the asbury park lot. Good thing we told a couple of friends to go there mega mega early cuz we just cut the line where they were. Saw danae, sara, rosanne, and the others they were with. They pulled an all-nighter right before one of the most tiring experiences in anyone's life.... smart! Well, got them to cut the line too and it was good seeing the buds all together. Got in fairly quickly, and the first hour was mega cool since there weren't too many people in the lot yet. Watched the Ataris first at the Brian Stage and like always they kicked ass. But after witnessing someone getting punched in the face and just standing there with his nose bleeding continuously, i didn't wanna get involved with the moshing at the moment. The ataris played old and new songs like so long asoria, boxcar, boys of summer, your boyfriend sucks, and san dimas highschool football rules, and others that i can't remember. Next we watched some Motion City Soundtrack. They are such a great band. The singer's voice is marvelous and you can feel the energy they display on stage. Saw them once at maxwell's and i definately didn't mind seeing them again here. Next we saw a glimpse of The Used who started the set playing Maybe Memories. A very good band with unlimited amounts of energy. The only problem is that there were TOO many people watching them. The band was literally 200 feet away from me. Eh, we left them to go wait to watch Brand New. Mike and steve went into the crowd while me, danae, and two others stayed up on the curb to watch the great view. Jesse had a broken leg so they played an acoustic set. Songs they played were: Jude Law and the Semester Abroad, Soco Ameretto Lime, Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades, i will play my game..., the boy who blocked his own shot, guernica, and ended with seventy times seven. That song was extra special since jesse started singing some "there's no 'i' in team" during the break of the song and adam from TBS came out and ended the song with the band. An awesome rocking moment. I'll continue this ish later... i'm too tired.

Mariss came back home today! Fun stuff with her all day. Went to Century Buffet and then afterwards went to her house and watched movie cartoons. Frankie pranked some Danae.... oh man that was funny. Off to the shore with the fogs-master and the flying-v. And then the warped tour! Hope to see some of my buddies there... ditzy-d, mama tandy, jazz... but it's a long shot with 10,000 people there. Ugh, i'll be back after the weekend with stories to tell that will last a century. Laterzzz

Not that great of a day today.... Woke up and played some taboo with chris, jermz, and petryszyn... that was fun. Then went to Wendy's and off to danae's house. That was crazy cuz everyone was fighting and ish. They're all so hyper it's ridiculous. Then went to george's garage to chill and jam late at night, and i guess the neighbors didn't appreciate it. Idk how but margaret and her mom came in and kicked us out. It was funny when margaret's mom pounded on the garage door when there's a side door that was wide open. Good laughs. Then went to anagesh's, got some ish, then went to allison's house where danae was. Gave her the bellongings she needs, then got kicked outta there too. Errr....

Went to the mall with Dipalma, Jermz, and Petryszyn. Walked around for a muy long time. That was cool.... got danae a "dork" hat and she liked it so hip hip hoorah. Jermz looked for a replacement sponge bob, but he was unsuccessful. Came home and then went to Applebee's to try and surprise danae.... which idk worked but it was fun yelling "surprise" and making a big deal. Spilt some soda on phil because of dumb steve, then some other funny stuff. Anagesh ate bacon.... heh, that's funny. Anyways, afterwards went to jermz' house cuz he had to go #2.... watched some world series poker with sean while phil was teasing shadow with his rope toy. It was crazy watching phil make shadow jump all over trying to get the rope... then went over to george's house. Had some ish, sat a lil, drove a lil.... a lot of fun. The lemon-scented Pledge was the isnitch. Can't think of anymore stuff, besides danae's mom took a picture and the flash blinded me.... uggg.... fun night.

Tutored at Danae's like usual. She had rosanne and sara over her house, and she was like we're gonna watch movies. Jermz, Frankie, and Anagesh joined in on the "scare fest". Watched "even horizon", but i really didn't watch it cuz anagesh was starting wars with everyone else in the room. All i know was that there was tp, soda, cans, boxes, pillows, and hats everywhere. What a mess. Then the goodfellas left and failed with operation sbd. As the night struck 12am, just had to wish danae a happy happy. Drove home with my elbows with talking on the cellie..... man the conversations last night were just hilarious (or as jeremy would say HIGH-larious). Jermz was going ballistic... i think he had incognito in his head way way too much. Then Danae.... phew it's a struggle everytime to keep up with the craziness. That good ol' D-train... Listened to the new DC album.... it's aight, but his past records are much better, but maybe this one will grow on me. I'm outtiez...

Woke up at 1pm... supposed to wake up at 11 but that's just impossible for me. Went to CD World and bought a Warped Tour ticket.... foglio tried to rip me off that bastard. Also bought the Thrice cd. Went to Willowbrook mall in search for something for danae, but i was unsuccessful. I'll try again tuesday. Then me, adam, and pops went to red lobster. Me and pops got the endless crab... we ate like 4 pounds of crab.... i was stuffed. Then off to hockey i went. Teams were jay, me, mickey, supop, alex, and matt (jermz was replaced because of the unfairness) against callaghan, jermz, petryszyn, brian, petryszyn, rozek, and chris. I had such a great day with 7 goals and uncountable assists. We won 16-15. Very good game. Trying to make plans now....

Played some very good tennis today. Me and Dipalma against Jermz and Chris.... a very very good matchup. Me and Dipalma ended up winning both sets, but they were very close. Then went to tutor at Danae's house, chilled a lil there until it was time to go to see 28 days later. The movie was a dissapointment, but i have to say if the main purpose of the movie was to gross out the audience, then they accomplished that. And i'm very glad the alternate ending did not make the cut for the movie, cuz the alternate ending sucked. Afterwards, me, mariss, phil, and danae went to the arlington diner. There we ate and talked and just chilled... i had a fun time. "Time flies when you don't eat." Heh, genius rob. I'm so freaking tired....
